Conditions of Acceptable Return for Books
- The books were ordered from Aspen Publishing on a returnable basis, and the books are returned within 30 days of the original invoice date.
- To facilitate the fastest return processing, include a copy of the invoice or packing slip with your return. Contact Customer Care at 1-800-317-3113 or Customer.Service@aspenpublishing.com to request a copy of your invoice if you have misplaced the packing slip or invoice that would have been shipped with your order.
- All returned books must be in saleable condition. Books that are returned and are not in saleable condition will be sent back and no credit will be issued. Saleable condition is defined as books free from defects in the binding, front or back covers, pages, and corners of the book, and free from notes, markings or highlighting.
- Books that are shrink-wrapped with other materials, including CDs or access cards, must be in the original, unbroken shrink wrap or no credit will be issued.
- Books that contain scratch-off codes for online access must remain intact, or no credit will be issued.
- The shipment is returned at the customer’s expense.
     a. The shipping charges for the return of books that were damaged in transit or shipped in error from Aspen Publishing will be the responsibility of Aspen Publishing.
     b. Claims for damaged, short-shipped, or mis-shipped books must be received by Aspen Publishing within 30 daysof receipt of the order by the bookstore or wholesaler. - All returns must be sent directly to:

    Returns sent to any other address will be refused and returned to the sender.

Returns are only accepted within add/drop period with proof of course being dropped. All other sales are final.
Law Office Simulation Platform Products
Returns accepted within 7 days.
JD-Next ProductsÂ
A full refund will be provided for any written request received by 5pm US Eastern Time on the Friday immediately following the official start date of a JD-Next course. After that date and time, individuals who purchased JD-Next cannot be removed from the JD-Next course, and refunds will not be processed.

Credit for Returns
Returns that arrive within 30 days of the original invoice date, meet the above criteria, and include accurate invoice information will be credited at the full invoice value.
Returned titles that are not accompanied by valid invoice information or where the invoice provided is already fully returned against will not be accepted.

Requesting Alternative Format Accommodations
- For a qualified student to receive a digital version of an Aspen Publishing title, the title must be adopted for classroom use. Requests must be submitted by the campus office authorized to provide such services to the institution’s students.Â
- The campus DSP should log the request here: Customer Support
- A valid receipt showing the requested title purchased at the campus bookstore, another authorized reseller, or directly from aspenpublishing.com must be attached
- Please specify institution name and course name/number
- Please allow 48-72 hours for a response to the request
