Series / Emanuel Law in a Flash Series
Description
Every law student’s “must-have” for exam prep! Criminal Procedure covers the entire criminal justice process, from the steps immediately following the commission of a crime through the punishment for that crime. Keep in mind that criminal procedure is handled principally by the states, all of which have their idiosyncrasies. However, the essential principles of constitutional criminal procedure have been laid down in a series of decisions by the U.S. Supreme Court.

This edition focuses on the major events involved in a criminal case as it winds its way through the system as well as the Supreme Court decisions related to constitutional criminal procedure.

With Law in a Flash, you have the foundation to improve exam performance. Once you’re familiar with this content, you can face your exam with the confidence of knowing and understanding the key principles and issues that are normally tested in a Criminal Procedure course.

About the authors
Steven L. Emanuel

As a student at Harvard Law School in the 1970s, Steve Emanuel wrote concise outlines for his courses and sold them in the law school dining hall to his fellow students. His outlines were such an immediate hit that soon after graduation, Steve quit the practice of law and started his own company to publish the Emanuel Law Outlines® series and other study-aid series he helped write.

For more than 40 years, Steve's full-time job has been to update the Emanuel Law Outlines®—and other study aids he's written or published, like the Law in a Flash series—to reflect changes in the law, in casebooks, and on topics tested in bar exams. Over 2 million copies of study aids written by Steve have been sold. Steve is a retired member of the New York, Connecticut, Maryland, and Virginia bars, and has passed the California bar exam.
