Creating a Course Page and Adopting Titles from Your Account Page
1. Go to the 'My Account' Page: Navigate to your account page.
2. "My Course Pages" and "My Adopted Titles": On the 'My Account' page, you will see sections for "My Course Pages" and "My Adopted Titles". Each of these two sections is detailed below.
"My Course Pages" Section:
In the "My Course Page" section, you will be able to perform the following actions:
- Search By Course Number or Name: You can search across the different course pages that you have created to navigate through them easily.
- Create Course Page: You can create a Course Page for a new course.
- Adopt a Title: You can use the “Adopt a Title” button to adopt a title inside your course page.
Aspen Access discounts apply to individual titles only, not bundles. Add each component separately so students get the best price. - Edit a Course: You can edit a course by clicking on 'Edit Course' to change the course name and the course page expiration date. Please note that you won’t be able to change the number of the course after the course page is created.
- Remove a Course: You can remove a course by clicking on “Remove Course”. This will delete the course page and all the titles adopted inside it. Please note that the URL of your course page will no longer be visible and will show a 404 error.
Tip: If you need to edit the course number for a course page, please delete the existing course page and create a new one.
My Adopted Titles Section:
In the “My Adopted Titles” you will be able to see the titles you have adopted and the course pages in which they have been adopted. In this section, you will be able to perform the following actions:
- Search By Titles: You can search across the different titles that you have adopted and be able to see in which course these have been adopted.
- Adopt a Title: You can adopt a title to an existing course page or a new course page by clicking on the “Adopt a Title” button.
- Edit an Adoption: You can edit an Adoption by clicking on the “Edit Adoption” button, which will help you to add the adoption or remove this adoption from existing course pages.
- Remove an Adoption: You can remove an adoption by clicking on the “Remove Adoption” button which will completely remove this adoption from all the course pages in which it was adopted.
3. Create a Course Page: Use the "Create Course Page" option to set up your course.
Note: The “Page Expiration Date” is the date for when the course page will expire or become inactive. After this date, the page will no longer be accessible to anyone. If a user uses the link to land on this page, they will get a 404-error message. We will send you an email 15 days (about 2 weeks) before the expiration date of your course page to make changes if required.
a
4. View Sharable Link: Once your course page is set up, you will receive a sharable link, which you will share with your students so that they can find all the course materials in one convenient place. This URL link will have your school's name, your last name, course number, and course name so that it is easily identifiable.
You can also get the shareable link at any time after the course is set up by visiting your account page and navigating to the “My Course Pages” section.
5. Adopt a Title in Course Page After Creation: After creating a course page, you will be able to see the option to adopt a title to the course page. In the search field you will be able to search for any product available on AspenPublishing.com and adopt it for your course page.

Tips for Maximizing the Aspen Access Program
- Keep course pages current. Update your pages whenever materials or requirements change so students always see the right list.
- Organize everything in one place. Use your institution page to keep all course materials together and easy for students to find.
- Encourage early purchasing. Students who buy before the semester starts walk into day one prepared.
- Promote the savings. Remind students they save 15–30% when they purchase through the course page.
- Mention the .edu requirement. Students need their verified .edu email address to unlock the discount — a quick reminder prevents checkout confusion.
