About the authors
Allan M. Tow

Allan M. Tow is an Associate Professor of Government at Suffolk University, Boston, Massachusetts, where he has taught since 1993. Previously he was Clinical Instructor and Directing Attorney at Harvard Law School and an instructor at Suffolk Law School. Allan was a Managing Attorney with Legal Services of the Virgin Islands and Greater Boston Legal Services. He began his legal career as a judicial clerk in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While a member of Suffolk's paralegal program, Allan has successfully litigated several pro bono cases before the United States Supreme Court and the First Circuit Court of Appeals. He received a Bachelor of Arts cum laude from Brandeis University in Anthropology and Linguistics and a Juris Doctor cum laude from Boston College Law School.

Mark Rotondo

Mark Rotondo is a Vice President of Innovation and Strategic Initiatives at Cambridge College, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and a former Associate Provost. He served as an Assistant Dean at Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts, where he served as the Pre-Law Advisor for five years. He has taught undergraduate and graduate courses over the past 23 years. He is a practicing attorney in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and has argued cases in the Massachusetts Federal District court. He primarily focuses on criminal law, complex civil litigation, and family law.

He received his Bachelor of Science in Government cum laude from Suffolk University, his Master of Science in Public Affairs cum laude from UMass Boston, a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School, and Master of Law degrees in Health and Biomedical Law.
