Bar Exam

The national average score on the July 2019 Multistate Bar Exam rose 1.6 points from the previous year, which could indicate the beginning of a turnaround in sagging pass rates.

 

The average score on the July multistate bar exam has increased 1.6 points, the largest year-over-year July increase since 2008, according to the National Conference of Bar Examiners.

 

Southern California Institute of Law is one of two non-ABA schools that fell short.

Roger Williams University School of Law in Bristol says it will honor Dorothy Russell Crockett Bartleson, who was admitted to the bar in 1932 as the state’s seventh female lawyer, Tuesday. She was 21 years old at the time.

Updated:The Department of Education on Thursday approved the release of federal student aid to Florida Coastal School of Law, a for-profit, InfiLaw school, after the school submitted a letter of credit to the agency.

 

Florida Coastal School of Law announced Thursday that InfiLaw CEO Rick Inatome appointed Jennifer Reiber as interim dean and Peter Goplerud as president.
